Core Awareness with Sarah de Poray

Takes place over two Sundays, April 29th & May 6th, from 1:00-3:00pm

 Sarah de Poray is a certified Pranalife yoga instructor, specialized in prenatal and postnatal yoga, and yoga for pelvic health. After spending nearly a decade as a stay-at-home mom, she is so grateful to now be doing this work that she loves so much through yoga to support women as they move through the reproductive journey.

Empower yourself with awareness and information to begin retraining and building functional strength in your core. Get to know this new body with compassion, and learn where to start and how to progress in building strength to support all movement - in a yoga class, at the gym, walking, running or just getting through the daily demands of your life. Learn about pelvic health issues (that are common, but not normal!) such as diastasis recti and incontinence. Learn what poses are helpful or not helpful and why. Build a foundation of healthy posture, natural breathing & useful movement and connect deeply to your own strength. 

This workshop is open to all postpartum mamas who have been cleared by their healthcare providers to start activity (6 to 8 weeks and beyond, including if you had your baby years ago!) Babies are welcome.
